Aurora Season

When darkness returns to Finnish Lapland, the most spectacular light show on Earth begins.

The Season

The Northern Lights Await

September brings the first Northern Lights to Finnish Lapland. The forests shift to autumn gold and crimson. The lake, glass-still in the cooling air, reflects the dancing aurora across its surface.

By November, early snow blankets the landscape in silence. The darkness is not absence — it is invitation. Under skies with zero light pollution, the aurora borealis paints the heavens in emerald, violet, and rose. This is the most magical season in Lapland.
